We will discuss the cost of home inspection, land transfer tax, deposit, down payment, and solicitor fees. Once we have the financial side of things ironed out we begin the search.

Once you have an accepted offer, part of what makes the experience so easy, is I can submit all of the deal files directly to your lender and solicitor on your behalf ensuring timely responses and actions are taken. This is also when the timeline starts to confirm financing, conduct the home inspections, and meet any other conditions that are in the contract. Some other conditions that you may need could be related to environmental, waterways, insurance or a combination of many others.
Now that the conditions are all fulfilled, it is time to prepare to close. As closing day approaches, we initiate a plan to contact the local services and utilities to the property to set up your new accounts or transfer existing ones. On closing day with some final signatures at the lawyer’s office, you have taken possession of your new home or cottage in beautiful Muskoka.
